You will support new product integration, module management, as well as future cost and quality projects as a Cooking Technology Subsystem Engineer. This will involve translating a project scope into an actionable development plan by creating a project schedule, performing concept generation, creating and executing test plans, releasing component and subsystem designs, and supporting implementation into a manufacturing process.This role in summary On a daily basis you will be challenged to troubleshoot & problem solve cooking cavity performance items in order to meet product project requirements. You will be responsible to support engineering builds in our Celaya facility and support lab testing and simulation analyses. It will be your responsibility to manage design trade-offs between performance, cost, aesthetics, and other product attributes. Trade-off management will require collaboration with a wide spectrum of process partners from other engineers to the marketing organization. On any given day, you will have a wide variety of work that needs to be self-managed and prioritized to meet project commitments.Your responsibilities will include Translate product level requirements into subsystem/module/component design criteriaDevelop and execute design & verification of Subsystem/Module/Components on schedule and at required cost, quality, and performance levelsOwn engineering release of cavity subsystem design including component and module CAD (Computer Aided Design), Drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).Capture & close knowledge gaps required to deliver subsystem level excellence through Design Guides, FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis), DVP&R (Design Verification Plan and Report), A3's, TCR/TCER, Tolerance Stack Ups, and other documents.Manage design tradeoffs between cost, quality, aesthetics, performance, capital, and other design attributes.Align current capability of architecture/supplier/manufacturing/customer solutions to meet product attribute targets and identify solutions for projects where current capability does not align to targets
