_**Duties and Responsibilities**_
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
- Provide part processing / Machine recommendations to best produce customer parts.
- Calculate time estimates based on machine selection and customer's part.
- Calculate a cost to manufacture customer parts including labor, and tooling/ work holding costs.
- Conceptually design work holding and tooling as needed to support the manufacture of customer parts.
- Demonstrate machine operation and machine features at trade shows and open house events.
- Safely rig and install machines in Technology Centers and at trade show events.
- Provide expert training sessions on safe machine operation and detailed machine functions at the customer facility and for the organization.
- Perform test cuts to demonstrate machine capability / prove processing concepts.
- Perform full turn-key process development and testing including statistical analysis of part measurement.
- Ability to program, operate, troubleshoot, and train all aspects of our entire product line including but not limited to 3,4,5 axis technology.
- Support on internal training and technical staff development as required.
- Approximately 50% of travel is required
**Commercial Support**
- Technical support to the commercial area to define optimal solution, analysis of time cycles, integration of support, from start-up, run-off to commercial proposals
- Support on commercial events such as trade shows, open house, tech day, etc.

- **Qualifications **_
- Associates degree or certification in a related technical field plus three years of experience in a machine tool related field, or five to seven years' experience in a related position.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Engineering degree preferred: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics.
- Technical degree preferred: CNC machinist, maintenance, automation.
**Technical Skills**:
- Must have extensive experience working with CNC machines, preferably Mazak machines and specifically on 3,4,5 axis technology.
- CNC programming. Lathes, 3+ axis machining centers
- Knowledge to read and interpretate GD&T, mechanical and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge in manufacturing process
- Use of CAD/CAM software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically strong in Excel
- Knowing how to drive and willingness to travel
- Desirable to have experience with Mazatrol, EIA/G-Code Programming, CAD/CAM Programming software, Esprit or Mastercam, Fusion 360 or other
