Our embedded engineers design, develop, and validate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and Compute and Security and User Experience products. In this role, you will design, develop, and validate base software modules for automotive applications.Your day to day will consist of the following:Develop software for active safety (ADAS) or body control production projectsDesign, code, and test real-time embedded systems with first time qualityPerform Software Requirement Analysis and design implementation adhering to Automotive SPICE.Work closely with component teams on interfaces and dependenciesTriaging of issues reported from stakeholdersInternal and customer diagnostics SW design, power moding, HWIO, Autosar stack configuration using tools like Vector DaVinciResponsible for static analysis, unit testing, and integration testing of the software on a hardware platform or test benchUse of Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety process compliance.Your BackgroundKey ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)5+ years professional experience in Consumer Electronics or Automotive IndustryBilingual – proficient in English speaking/reading/writingInterpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challengeAbility to effectively manage several projects at onceStrong understanding of Embedded C on microcontroller architecturesNice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):Master's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)Experience in realizing ISO26262 Technical Safety ConceptsExperience in Low power mode implementation, factory-test softwareKnowledge of Agile methodology and Automotive SPICEWhy join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
