Our team in Hermosillo is ramping up for a detailed engineering design on a gold processing plant. The processing plant will produce gold dore and antimony concentrate by a process that includes crushing, grinding, flotation, concentrate handling and filtration (antimony) as well as pressure oxidation, CIP and elutions (gold). We are currently recruiting for several Piping Engineers of all levels to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the Hermosillo office.
About the role Develop and prepare engineering drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, redlines, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data. Conduct risk analysis for architectural designs, identify potential challenges, and propose effective solutions. Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in all architectural aspects of the projects. Collaborate with various teams to coordinate building services such as HVAC, heating, water supply, drainage, electricity, and voice/data systems. Ensure accurate representation of steel components and connections in the structural model. Create plans that communicate the manufacturing specifications for architectural components. Conduct thorough reviews of 3D models, single and assembly drawings, and erection drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications. Interface with other disciplines (architectural, mechanical, piping, electrical) to ensure that structural drawings are incorporated with other discipline requirements. Liaise with engineers for direction, specifications, and feedback. Perform and verify calculations. About you Bachelor's degree in architecture Minimum of 7 years experience, primarily in the design of facility areas, ancillary buildings and infrastructure for industrial & mining projects Experience in consulting engineering is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a must. Proficiency in BIM modelling is desired. Experience with Structural Detailing is an asset. Flexible and open to occasional travel to project sites as required. Proficiency in performing material take-offs and proposals is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must. Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English. Why Ausenco?
