**Job Summary**
- Provide accounting and financial support for Global Design projects for design and construction services, including cost/project accounting, analysis and forecasting, billings, collections, and receivables management (cash flow), and account reconciliations.
- Includes financial reporting, reviews for tax compliance, audits of contractor accounting records and billings, and participation in the annual budget process.
- May manage professional, administrative, and temporary staff positions.
**Specific Expected Contributions**- Review contracts for compliance with Company standards and ensure financial administration in compliance with contract terms.
- Review and analyze project costs of accuracy and completeness.
- Provide project accounting and reporting support to design managers, project directors, division management, and customer community.
- Coordinate/prepare capital expenditure/volume projections, project/financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
- Coordinate/prepare accurate and timely project billings and collections.
- Analyze project expenditures against budget, and coordinate variance explanations and results into future project estimates.
- Coordinate/prepare account reconciliations, research variances and adjusting journal entries, as appropriate.
- Close out projects on a timely basis and coordinate/prepare final billing and collection and verify proper tax compliance.
- Monitor processes to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Identify improvements needed to existing processes; develop and implement effective procedures and controls.
- Assist in the development of systems enhancements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the accounting function.
- Provide analysis and support to the Division's annual budget process and monitor annual recovery of costs.
- Establish strong working relationships with the various disciplines noted in (7) below.
- Manage, develop, and train supporting staff.
- Supervise and review temporary resources and work products.
- Special projects, as required.
- Bachelor Degree required (or higher) in Accounting or related field
- CPA/CMA preferred.
- 5-6 years professional experience, 2 years management experience preferred.
- Excellent PC skills, proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Teams
- PeopleSoft software experience preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles required (GAAP).
- Knowledge of contracting, construction/design industry, project management and consulting agreements preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communications skills required.
- For positions supporting the Caribbean & Latin American region, fluency in both English & Spanish preferred
