We are currently searching for an Associate Director of Software Development : Responsibilities Leadership and Development: Act as a leader in software development, guiding a team of developers in designing and implementing technological solutions aligned with the organization's objectives.
Hands-on experience in Java , .Net (desirable) , Oracle , and WAS IBM technologies, focusing on web-based applications and microservices architecture.
System Analysis and Functional Testing: Oversee system analysis and functional testing to ensure high-quality software delivery that meets both business and technical requirements.
Project Management: Manage the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) , including planning, execution, CI/CD processes, and project delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Business Areas: Develop and manage solutions for critical business areas such as Client Billing Systems, SPEI and Payment Systems, Post-Trading Processes, Investment Funds, Custody, and Settlement Systems.
BAU Operations: Ensure smooth business as usual (BAU) operations, address incident backlogs, and maintain system availability.
Vendor Management: Supervise IT vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality in service contracts, incident resolution, and project execution.
Reports to the IT Director and coordinates with other departments to design, implement, and maintain technological solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and strategic requirements.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages ( Java and Net ), Database management ( Oracle ), and Middleware ( WAS IBM ).
Project Management: Proven ability to manage software development projects, ensuring compliance with the SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
Banking Knowledge: Strong understanding of SPEI, payment systems, Fund investment operations, custody, or settlement processes .
Risk Management: Experience in managing incident resolution and mitigating operational and technological risks.
Leadership: Skilled in leading and mentoring development teams, fostering a culture of growth and high performance.
Desired Strong organizational skills with a focus on multitasking and priority management.
Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage emergency situations.
Languages Advanced Oral English.
Native Spanish.
