Purpose of Position.Provide Operation Specialized Support as Project ,Automation and Controls expert, coach his team to attain Cost Reduction goals during the year, Coordinate resources to support Initiatives and projects, provide technical guidance on all RCA and improvement requirements while driving process improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, TRIZ, MEE and all applicable methodologies, generate financial analysis to fund improvement projects that involve any Automation or Manufacturing improvement deliverablesWorks on diverse opportunities and needs, analyzes data to provide a clear understanding of each situation and the available solutions detailing Pros and Cons on each scenario; exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Generates development plans, evaluate Individual Performance, keep a healthy work environment, enforce Corning values, discipline and leverage personnel talent/workload.Leads the specialized engineering groups aligned with the organization KSI, projects and programs, oversees and assures norm, methodology and standard compliance of all equipment and process development projects.2.
