Job Overview
Review and analyze employee benefits plans and policies to make recommendations about how to improve current benefits packages or adding new benefits to the company to increase retention of current employees and to make more attractive the company to potential ones.Job responsibilities and functions-Manage and implement health & wellness initiatives such as wellness campaigns.
- Responsible for reconciling benefit or claims issues and discrepancies and determining solutions to resolve issues.
- Make with the reconciliation of all benefit accounts, audits, and billing.
- Collaborate in annual benefit open enrollment process, internal communications, updating new elections.
- Collaborate with Payroll and Pre-Payroll to ensure the proper deductions (and/or adjustments) are taken for final pay processing.
- Ensure that all company programs are meeting all legal requirements.
- Prepare benefits reports for plan audits and management.
- Coordinate the relation with allies and responsible to generate new ones.
- Responsible for customer service of benefits, resolving issues, monitoring/creating metrics.
- Communicate to HR team updates regarding benefits plans.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of benefits programs and propose improvements or changes to guarantee that the programs meet employee's needs and company's strategy.Requirements
- University/ College Degree (Education degree in Administration, Psychology or similar)
- Upper Intermediate English Level
- Specialized knowledge: Insurance management, Ley Federal del Trabajo, Mexican taxes.
- Computer knowledge: Excel - Intermediate (pivot tables, formulas, charts), Word (Basic), PowerPoint (Basic), -Sistema TRESS (Basic).
- 1 year of experience in Human Resources
- Strong focus on employee education.
- Ability to work with a cross-functional group of partners, both internal and external.
- Interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
