As a Business Intelligence Engineer on the Marketing & Prime team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the growth of our customer base and Amazon Prime membership through the implementation and improvement of powerful business intelligence solutions. You will bring critical insights to our marketing, customer lifecycle, and Prime teams to drive data-driven decision making and uncover new opportunities.This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires excellent analytical abilities, deep knowledge of business intelligence tools and solutions, as well as outstanding business acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, driven by a desire to innovate.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain reporting dashboards, KPIs, and metrics to track the performance of marketing campaigns, customer acquisition and retention, and Amazon Prime growth in Mexico.Analyze cross-functional data from various sources (e.G., sales, marketing, customer, Prime) to uncover insights and opportunities for improving customer experiences and driving business results.Partner closely with marketing, customer lifecycle, and Amazon Prime teams to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into robust data models and analyses.Automate reporting processes and create self-service analytics tools to enable data-driven decision making across the organization.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics and customer growth strategies.Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure data pipelines to support analytical needs.Communicate findings, recommendations, and data-driven stories to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.Posted: November 12, 2024 (Updated 10 days ago)Amazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age.#J-18808-Ljbffr
