**Description and Requirements**:
The Bill of Materials Engineer will work on Customer BOM/EC enablement including data releases, IT system enablement, EC releases and label EC management.
Additionally, this role will also require end-to-end data enablement with customers and Lenovo's internal teams, including engineering and manufacturing data enablement.
- Work with global teams to define shipment features and specs
- Build Product CTO BOM and MECH.BOM correctly
- Create BOM/EC data release plan and track data readiness
- Closely work and communicate with related functional teams to ensure E2E data accuracy
- Resolve BOM/EC issues quickly and accurately
- Work with internal team to plan part transitions
- Perform both sustaining and NPI BOM changes
- Ability to program in VBA or Python to validate work
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline
- 3+ years BOM/EC working experience in server and hardware development
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in direct customer engagements
- Masters degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering is a plus
- Hyperscale/Cloud experience a plus- Experience with MS Office products especially excel and outlook
- Knowledge of server components and parts
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation
- Ability to interface with Lenovo and customer
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams and have the autonomy to make decisions
- Good documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly learn, question, and collaborate on solving problems
- Ability to work effectively cross-culturally across teams in the Mexico, US and Asia
