As we continue to improve and expand our manufacturing efforts, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
Proven ability to manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in accounting software, including Contpaq i and other similar accounting software.
Expert in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions relevant to accounting and manufacturing cost analysis. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Seeking a challenging and rewarding bookkeeping position in a dynamic and growing manufacturing company. Must have 90% English proficiency.
Experiência y requisitos
- Experience: 5 years of Bookkeeping experience in a manufacturing company.
- Education: Degree or Certification in Accounting or related field.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Experience managing full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections _specifically within a manufacturing context_.
- General Ledger: Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, including cost accounting elements relevant to a manufacturing environment (e.g., work in process, finished goods).
- Bank Reconciliation: Experience reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Experience preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, with a focus on key manufacturing metrics.
- Cost Accounting: Understanding of cost accounting principles, including direct and indirect costs, overhead allocation, and cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations.
- Inventory Management: Experience with inventory tracking and management systems (preferred, but not essential).
- Data Entry: Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues effectively.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- English Proficiency: 90% fluency (or higher) in written and spoken English.
