We are dedicated to helping Higher Ed thrive by transforming their institutions to agile, digitally connected campuses that enable student success.Overview:As a member of the consulting team, the Business Analyst works with customers on assigned projects to identify solutions to functional and minor technical problems.**Where you will make an impact**- Planning, analysis, coordination and support of our Ellucian Banner ERP system and all components of the Unified Digital Campus (UDC) such as: Banner Document Management, DegreeWorks, Workflow, Automic/UC4- Provide creative technical input to help develop technical solutions to customer problems including but not limited to the design of user interfaces and development of SQL queries- Executing and completing assigned projects within the time and scope negotiated with the customer- Evaluating existing business processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvement- Implementing systems and proof of concepts that best fit the customer's needs- Ensuring customer satisfaction until the project is complete- Participating in multiple projects simultaneously and being able to adapt- Improving and maintaining technical documentation along with processes and procedures- Engaging in continuous learning and adoption of new concepts, technologies and problem-solving techniques- Provide quality end-user consultation and support Ellucian's Banner product suite- Write documentation that describes installation and operating procedures- Interact with the customer and other consultants to translate business requirements into functional specifications for conversions, reporting, interfaces, and customizations- Provides guidance in the development of user-training strategy, and when appropriate, delivers such training- Evaluate and modify systems, where appropriate, relative to the customer business practices- Provide customer high-quality business process, change management and other appropriate documentation- Assists clients in troubleshooting issues within the Ellucian Banner product suite- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude- Other duties as assigned**What you will bring**- Experience with Customer service and mitigating escalations- Experience with Oracle database developer including SQL, PL/SQL, database functions and procedures- Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors, and customers- Self-starter attitude- Experience using Oracle SQL development environment such as TOAD or SQL Developer
