Who will you be working with? The Buyer/Procurement Specialist will interact with all levels of Manufacturing/Fulfillment leadership as well as work together with cross-functional teams including Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management. How will you make a difference? The Buyer/Procurement Specialist will manage the buying process, apply sourcing policies, and interact with different suppliers and business segments. This position requires a strong foundation and knowledge in procurement/sourcing. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.Minimum of 1 year of experience in Fulfillment/Procurement/Sourcing or Supplier Management experience.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Place and follow up on Purchase Orders.Manage relationships with suppliers including continuous engagement to monitor On Time Delivery and drive improvement actions with Suppliers to improve their Material Availability.Update and execute MRP signals such as pull ins / push outs / cancellations to drive accuracy on the signals sent to vendors and prevent excess on order.Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive material availability and other key business metrics.Work together with cross-functional teams including Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management.Responsible for meeting all KPIs related to Fulfillment function.Share knowledge and help to mentor other team members
