(CEN) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ADVISORJob Description Support on the execution of M&A transactions across geographies worldwide, assess business development opportunities, portfolio rebalancing, support strategic planning analysis and internal consulting projects.
Main Responsibilities Participate in M&A transactions by developing valuation models (DCF, multiples, etc.) and evaluating transaction investment metrics. Assess business development opportunities in CEMEX and non-CEMEX markets and geographies. Analyze market conditions, competitive dynamics, and industry performance to identify opportunities which would improve CEMEX's positioning as a leader in the building materials industry. Participate in (and potentially lead) work streams of internal consulting projects for CEMEX worldwide across our 4 core businesses (cement, ready-mix, aggregates and Urbanization Solutions). Prepare materials and present recommendations for top management meetings, including Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and other events. Work and coordinate with corporate staff and regional operational areas, including finance, legal, tax, accounting, sustainability, operations and technical, R&D, among others. Engage and coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders including external advisors. Coordinate with external entities, including banks, consultants, counsels, among others. Develop junior members of the team. Handle stress, work with different areas and cultures, handle short deadlines and last-minute urgent requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of work experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, Finance, Controllership, Corporate Planning, Business Development, Innovation, or equivalent areas Advanced English required (C1/C2 or TOEFL/IELTS equivalent) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Internal/External Relations INTERNAL Controllership, Legal, Finance, Operations, RRHH, Tax, Procurement, etc. Basically, must of the Company´s areas EXTERNAL Third parties M&A teams such as other company´s managerial areas CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion Statement At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and in which we do business.
