.Manages and controls the procurement inventory management performance based on data, defined policies, procedures, and best practices to advise and provide solutions to Country Procurement Operations for them to optimize their working capital, maximizing Company's results and lead worldwide initiatives.**Main Responsibilities**:- Propose, lead initiatives and strategies to improve the inventory management processes of warehouses in all countries.- Coordinates and supervises the implementation of working capital optimization initiatives with procurement countries to facilitate the execution of inventory management targets and optimize the Company's results.- Defines, consolidates, and monitors the inventory KPIs based on a global, regional, and local perspective to help country operations to identify opportunities.- Establishes and recommends global policies and models for the inventories management to optimize and ensure the control of CEMEX working capital worldwide.- Review current inventory parameters to propose new levels according to new operational activity to reduce risk and have optimal inventory.- Analyze critical and repaired spare parts levels in all countries to set a common set of rules to reduce risk and have optimal inventory levels.- Analyze high rotation items in all countries to propose consignment strategies.- Recommend virtual or centralized warehouses within one Region or among several Countries / Regions- Review current technologies on warehouse management to propose pilots of the warehouse of the future to reduce workload, make the process more efficient to end users and procurement personnel.- Support data cleaning/deduplication campaign to rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data for better management and more efficient processes.- Recommends global policies and models for the Item Master Catalog management in order to ensure the quality of the data classification structure and descriptions to support the data analytics and consolidation (spend) for the negotiations, purchases, inventories, maintenance and suppliers' processes.- Establish a strategy to optimize working capital that includes all country Procurement and Operations to be part of it.- Ensures operability of local legal requirements and gives support for new needs and requirements.- Consolidates global inventory information with different ERP systems and different structure models (guarantee updated and accurate information to share).- Manages different cultures and languages in advice and provide solutions to helps Country Procurement Operations to optimize the working capital in inventory management.**Position Challenges**:- Establish a strategy to optimize working capital that includes all country Procurement and Operations to be part of it- Ensures operability of local legal requirements; give support for new needs and requirements
