A prestigious resort in Los Cabos, Mexico, known for its ultra-luxury services and global cuisine, is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine for their new Thai restaurant opening soon. This dining venue, with over 150 seats, will feature both authentic and modern Thai cuisine, aiming to deliver an exceptional culinary experience. The successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Chef and play a key role in planning, organizing, and leading the restaurant's opening. Thai nationality preferred, but not mandatory.Requirements: •Extensive knowledge of both authentic and modern Thai cuisine.•Degree in Gastronomy or a related field.•Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or related positions.•Experience in luxury hotels or high-end Thai restaurants is preferred.•Advanced proficiency in English.•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.•Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development.•Ability to adapt to changing environments and demands.•Results-driven with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities: •Develop and create an innovative menu that combines both authentic and modern Thai cuisine.•Conduct menu tastings to refine dishes and ensure the highest quality.•Oversee kitchen budgets and manage food costs efficiently.•Train and mentor kitchen staff, focusing on Thai culinary techniques and maintaining a cohesive team.•Ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards for authenticity and presentation. Compensation Package: •Gross Monthly Salary (Approximate): $3,500.00 USD to $4,000.00 USD per month, plus bonus and benefits.
