.Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a CI Manager.What you'll do:Driving strategic direction of the business and ensuring achievement of operating and production objectives consistent with quality assurance requirements, optimizing the utilization of the workforce to minimize manufacturing costs.Participates as a key member of plant manager's staff in all critical decisions impacting facility.This position provides overall leadership for continuous improvement strategy.Key responsibilities include driving the strategic plan at the operational level, defining and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure our continued success in the deployment of the Eaton Business System by utilizing the Eaton Lean System, Six Sigma, and Prolaunch.Development of short and long-range strategic business plans to align our resources to meet future customer needs and drive superior operating results.Driving strategic direction of the business and ensuring achievement of operating and production objectives consistent with quality assurance requirements, continuous improvement mindset, and optimizing the utilization of the workforce to minimize manufacturing costs.Establish and maintain budgets, manpower, and equipment requirements to support the needs of the customer both internally and externally.Provide leadership that will enable subordinate personnel to develop and deploy the EBS toolbox: Eaton Lean System, Six Sigma, and Prolaunch.Ensure that systems and operations are compliant with prescribed continuous improvement system requirements and identify and implement improvement opportunities.Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and application of rules. Identify, control, and administer risk and danger in own area.Promotes the company's mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.Qualifications:Industrial Engineering degree or related fields required.5 years experience in a management position within a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive).English language capability, speaking, reading & writing required.Broad technical knowledge in the areas of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, plant engineering, production/materials planning, maintenance needs, and systems application.EBE (or equivalent process) examiner or organization leader, Six Sigma qualification would also be beneficial.Broad financial knowledge for asset management, budgeting, and profit plan obtainment.Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels
