Role Purpose
Chubb's Consumer Propositions team is tasked with the development of customer-first and prospect-first insurance propositions to new and existing partners. We are looking for a talented and motivated underwriter to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, underwriting, and pricing Chubb's most innovative digital product ideas - with support from the regional consumer distribution, digital engineering, and underwriting teams, coordinate partner-first multi-product, multi-country economic proposals for regional business opportunities and work in an agile team led by the Consumer Propositions head.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Product viability assessments with clearly defined exposure analysis and product pricing to feed customer affordability analysis.
- Work closely with Digital teams, key account managers, regional and local Underwriters in effectively building unique and claims-first products focused on superior experience for end consumers and sustainable growth for partners (both core values of the Consumer Propositions team).
- Develop price model using traditional and non-traditional data, including 3rd party data sources (structured and unstructured).
- Work together with consumer propositions team to design and launch experiments to find Product-Market fit with a Claims-First approach and a scalable mindset.
- Design and contribute to the creation of product testing sandbox for the Digital Business.
- Work together with Consumer Distribution, LOB heads and local UW leads to organize and deliver partner-first winning economic proposals for strategic regional deals.
- Being comfortable wearing many hats, from underwriting, to business, customers experience, tech, claims, legal and more points of view to create great and robust digital insurance products.
- Post-launch monitoring of product performance for take-up ratios, purchase propensity, customer stickiness and profitability.
- Ongoing assessment of market opportunities, development of business cases and assessment of competitor activities and products.
- Building relationships within all levels of Chubb's Latin America region and Global teams to facilitate product worthiness, relevancy, and speed to market.
- Contribute and share best practices, learnings to facilitate the developing of new skills and knowledge of underwriters within the Latin America region.

Experience
- Five (5)
years underwriting or actuarial experience in accident & health, personal lines, life, or other consumer products.
- Advanced level of SAS and EMBLEM an advantage.
- Insurance industry, Fintech, Insurtech or end-to-end consumer Digital experience advantageous.
