Overview
Responsible for developing, coordinating and supporting corporate strategies for continuous improvement.
Develop, coordinate and provide support in the creation of improvement projects in its different methodologies.
Generate, develop activities that promote participation in the generation of continuous improvement projects.
Design recognition mechanisms for personnel who participate in continuous improvement projects
Experience and Education
Completed Bachelor's degree (Engineering, administration or related careers).
2-4 years of experience in a role related to continuous improvement and Six Sigma, problem solving methodology or relevant experience.
Green Belt or Black Belt certification, certification is extra.
Experience in quality and manufacturing is required
Knowledge, Skills and Certifications
Ability, knowledge and vision to prepare and direct improvements and development of Six Sigma projects.
**Training and mentoring skills to develop staff**: White & Green Belt.
Training and mentoring skills to coordinate and develop improvement workshops.
Ability to develop and direct organizational projects (Manufacturing, Engineering, Transactional)
Leadership and communication skills are required.
Ability to work with a broad set of plant personnel.
Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office and MINITAB
Ability to work effectively and proactively with a variety of individuals in a team environment
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Provide support to the different areas to manage and implement the activities required to meet the expectations of improvement and sigma.
Organize and prepare the information according to the structure of the required improvement workshops.
Support the development of materials required for training programs and troubleshooting tools.
Provide support in updating the progress in the plan developed for the projects.
Support the updating, monitoring and review of the implementation and effectiveness of the action plan of the projects
Support the development and control of procedures, work instructions and process maps developed in projects in accordance with the BRP quality management system.
Maintain the update of the process maps and database.
Record the progress of the projects and the impact of continuous improvement in a graphic medium to visualize the progress and effectiveness of the activities.
Update the BSC corresponding to continuous improvement
Participate in MOC meetings required by BRPMS.
Generate strategies for the achievement of the corporate GET for the PSP tool.
Implement staff recognition activities
Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their function in relation to ISO9001:2015.
Comply with the security rules determined according to their role.
Comply on time the planned training related to Quality and Training.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
