Aunque nuestro nombre puede no ser familiar para los consumidores, nuestros productos son componentes clave de los alimentos ofrecidos por muchas de las empresas más reconocidas del mundo.**Summary**:- The purpose of the GPS Process Improvement Manager is to drive the lean culture, standardize best practices and processes and facilitate activities using continuous improvement methods.- This position is responsible of leading the GPS (Griffith Production System) continuous improvement process based on TPS and LEAN philosophy.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:**Efficiency Improvement**:- Responsible for improving the efficiency of the operation by use of mathematical methods and use of Lean Manufacturing tools, such as Standardized Work, Kaizen, Heijunka, Jidoka, and Continuous Flow to redesign manufacturing and information technology systems.- Coordinates and facilitates 5S, SMED, VSM and Lean Manufacturing projects as needed.- Analyze operational processes and systems to identify areas of improvement; develop and implement policies and procedures that improve process efficiency and evaluate Routings and Factory Capacity Model.- This position leads the implementation of process or equipment changes that drive detected improvement opportunities.- Identifies process bottlenecks and constraints and provides solutions for eliminating those obstacles.- Analyze the production flow with the objective to identify the 7 waste and implement the actions to eliminate the losses.- Research, evaluate, and recommend equipment and/or software technologies to drive process automation and cost improvement.**Standardization**:- This position is responsible for Supply Chain current processes improvement, new one's implementation, and standardization.- Identifies areas for standardizing processes and equipment to be utilized across Manufacturing Plants.- Manages and maintains the reporting of Metrics, KPI's, and Scorecards for Manufacturing Plants throughout the DMS.- Develop processes/visual displays to effectively communicate real time operational performance vs targets and historical performance.**Other Responsibilities**:- Coordination of the SCM GCI process, ideation sessions, project funnel and progress tracking.- Coordinates and facilitates cultural initiatives with personnel such as the OKAM program (One Kaizen a Month) and/or Quality Control Circles
