Customer Quality Engineer

The Supplier Quality Engineer investigates, analyzes and resolves supplier quality problems by conducting audits, analyzing defect trends and leading continuous improvement projects.Working in project teams, the Supplier Quality Engineer is applying advanced quality planning to ensure that new developed products are meeting the expectation of Sensata and Customers.General ResponsibilitiesHandles resolution of problems related to misunderstanding or misinterpretation of product specificationsProvides active support during the supplier selection process, to ensure that a well-prepared and best supplierProvides technical input for strategic sourcing projectsRequests Supplier Risk AssessmentsSupports drawing and tool design reviews, works on measurement conceptsExperience / QualificationsA university degree required (i.E. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demandsStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentationStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve resultsStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrityHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standardsProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and / or external customers#J-18808-Ljbffr
