.Descripción y detalle de las actividadesThe CQE determines specific quality related functional milestones during New Product Development and understands detailed implications of decisions and recommendations. They are able to communicate recommended solutions to the product development team and work directly with customer quality contacts during launch to ensure all customer quality needs are met as specific requirements related to PPAP.Responsible for identifying risks and working with appropriate product development functions to ensure critical and high-risk items are prevented prior to validating the final design. The risk assessment is based upon comprehensive lessons learned from previous products, along with technological, manufacturing, and operational risks to the current design.Leads quality lessons learned and provides solutions to prevent re-occurrence of quality issues, possessing a high sense of urgency when managing critical issues.Drives continuous improvement in all aspects of the job and is able to deal with ambiguity. Influences all team members as an expert in advanced quality methods and protocols, leading cross-functional teams in Design for Quality initiatives.Completes all tasks assigned through APQP/Gate review process on time and accurately.Serves as team champion to coordinate and complete all internal/external PPAP requirements in accordance with the timing communicated to the customers for Program Launch.Maintains/creates AIAG core tools workbooks for each program/product assigned, leading the team when necessary to create/update the Mfg. Process Flow, PFMEA & Control Plan.Experiencia y requisitosSofware or programs needed: CQE, APQP, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, Core tools.Strong knowledge of quality standards ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (for automotive), problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, ability to analyze quality data using Minitab and prepare reports for customers, experience working with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and ensure alignment with customer needs, experience managing customer quality projects (APQP), knowledge of internal and external audit processes to ensure quality systems compliance, good attitude, proactive, and organized.ExperienceProven experience as a supplier quality engineer, demonstrating skills in preventive quality methods and compliance, statistical data analysis, critical thinking, structured problem solving (8D), the use of metrics to identify opportunities, and business process improvement. Demonstrates skills in managing customer quality issues and experience in setting up product and process quality control for equipment assembly lines. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance, experience in product, process, and system audit
