Belden.Job Summary:The major responsibilities of this position include directing the correct handling of order entry, sales dollar commitment performance, order status inquiries, expedite requests, quotation requests, technical information requests, customer compliance, sales policy interpretation and enforcement.Responsibilities:The primary objective of this position is to provide Belden's customer base with excellent service. To accomplish this objective requires a close relationship with all Field Sales personnel, including Regional Sales Management and NAT Account Managers. In conjunction with outside sales, the incumbent works closely with Pricing, Credit, Production control, Plants, Marketing, Traffic, Accounting, and Engineering to ensure that customers are receiving professional and timely responses to their questions.Monitors the daily flow of orders, quotes, and service needs of customers and prospects. Initiates action and direction to teams in order to maintain standards and objectives.Required to identify issues and problems by securing factual data from different sources in order to draw valid conclusions which may result in alternative courses of action. Good to excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Required to clearly and concisely express ideas orally in individual and team situations, with the ability to quickly and accurately perceive needs, desires, attitudes, and opinions. Excellent listening skills.Performs special assignments as required.Performs all other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Experience:Requirements for this position include a college degree and/or the equivalent of 1 - 3 years' experience in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and/or Manufacturing or any combination of the above. Ability to effectively adjust style according to our client needs, competencies, confidence levels, and other variables.
