**Job Summary**: The Customs Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all U.S. and Mexican Customs requirements and regulations, facilitating shipments crossing the US / Mexico border, and managing day-to-day activities associated with trade compliance.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Recognizes and values customers and fellow associates by:

- Manage all aspects of compliance with US and Mexican trade compliance.
- Responsible for compliance with IMMEX program and developing robust controls and procedures to ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded.
- Identify, communicate, and work with purchasing teams to resolve supplier non-conformance issues with documentation, labeling, and data accuracy.
- Organize, prioritize, process and verify information pertaining to manifested goods shipping to and/or from Mexico.
- Administer all import/export licenses, permits, and service agreements / contracts associated with trade between US and Mexico.
- Liaise with Corporate on matters like tariffs, duties, taxes, insurance, and permits.
- Consult with Import/Export Broker, Outside Service Providers, Freight Carriers, and US and Mexico Customs to expedite passage of shipments.
- Coordinate the calculation of tariffs, duties, taxes, and/or licensing fees, as applicable, and ensure proper authorization procedures are followed.
- Analyze changes in trade laws and regulations and provide required updates to all import / export policies and procedures.
- Maintain records of import / export functions including maintenance of Pedimento inventory.
- Support annual physical inventory count and periodic cycle counts of perpetual inventory ledger and compare to customs inventory control system to ensure accuracy.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or similar field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual English-Spanish
- US Visa (desired)
- Working knowledge with Trade and Import/Export Regulations - Mexico & US
- Knowledge in Reconciliation Program (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge in CTPAT and OEA
- Strong working knowledge of IMMEX regulations
- Prosec R8
- US MCA treaty
