**Job Title**: Customs Trade and Compliance CoordinatorResponsible for the assurance and compliance of all current legal dispositions in matters of foreign trade including certifications (e.G.
C-TPAT, OEA, VAT), as well as the internal policies and procedures (e.G.
Export Control Compliance).
**RESPONSABILITIES**:- Prepare and submit Foreign Trade reports and in a timely manner, such as SE, INEGI, SHCP monthly reports in order to have all authorized and updated permits for the operation of the corporation.- Management and administration of the IMMEX program (temporary import to produce export items) as well as updating the respective inventory control software.
(Parts, Products, costs, bills of materials, etc.
).- Perform downloads and reconciliations vs physical inventory of the existing Import Export system on a monthly basis.- Implement and comply with the policies and procedures to establish adequate internal controls system as well as the standardization of foreign trade operations.- Identify and document potential risks and / or critical characteristics of operations and drive the measures to prevent and mitigate them.- Proactively support Internal and External Audits and ensure an accurate risk assessment of the Foreign Trade operations.- Deploy measures to monitor performance and compliance for the foreign trade area.- Control and administration of documentation related to disposal of Fixed Assets temporarily imported.- Obtaining, review and sign of certificates of origin issued by the American divisions for the importation of products.- Preparation of Certificates of export origin.- Follow up on the customs agents for the timely preparation of virtual pedimentos every month.- Identify and implement cost reduction projects.- Provide the necessary documentation to the customs agents, as well as the necessary information required for the release of the goods from the customs.- Annex 24/31 monthly balances review.- VAT / IEPS certification maintenance.- Establish and ensure a continuous training program of the foreign trade representatives.- In addition, all those analogous activities and similar responsibilities that by their nature are inherent to the job.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelor's Degree on Business Administration or related areas.- Bilingual (English/Spanish).- 5+ years in similar position (Automotive Industry).- Good communication and organizational skills- Self-motivated, customer-oriented and detail-oriented- Foreign trade regulation and practice on topics like imports, exports, interaction with customs brokers, tax impact and foreign trade costs.- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.- Green Belt certification is preferred.- Knowledge of quality management system IATF 16949 and environmental management system ISO 14001 & SAP is preferred.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasLugar de trabajo: In person
