WCDAO is a key driver in building the bank of the future by streamlining operations, transforming legacy processes, and commercializing insights into actionable outcomes. WCDAO is responsible for ensuring that the data we capture and use is captured accurately within HSBC systems i.E. Smart Serve, Staff Front End / Master Data Management (SFE / MDM), Head Office Reporting and Information System (HORIS), Customer Management Experience (CME), etc.Data Management is responsible for protecting our data by supporting the business in the application of policy, process, standards and metrics to govern and secure wholesale owned, produced and consumed data. Enabling the business to unlock the value of our data and maximize the value derived by HSBC and our customers. Oversight and governance of the wholesale customer list and the management of master group and relationship management data is at the core. Analyzing complex data linkages to enable the provisioning of customer data extracts, revenue reporting and other reports to enable effective and timely management of non-financial risks, including response to audit and risks teams.Main ActivitiesWork with large data sets to integrate, transform and derive meaningful insights to help business make informed decisions.Strong analytical skills to analyze data and develop effective solutions based on business needs.Drive process efficiency by automating and documenting processes with appropriate data controls.Liaise with the business stakeholders, IT and other support teams to source/remediate key datasetsManage new data requirements and expectations with the stakeholders.Perform other job-related duties as assigned Requirements Good communication and inter-personal and influencing skills.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.ExperiencePrior experience of working with large data sets.Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.Proven experience of building relationships and working with stakeholders.Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritized
