The Data Engineer will work closely with a multi-disciplinary agile team to build high quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions. These solutions will generate insights from the organization's connected data, enabling the advancement of data-driven decision-making capabilities of the enterprise. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, reporting, and a basic understanding of data science techniques and workflows. The ideal candidate is a skilled data/software engineer with experience creating data products supporting analytics solutions. Finally, possessing strong problem-solving skills, working as part of a technical, cross-functional analytics team, and a desire to solve complex data problems and deliver the insights to enable analytics strategy.Requirements:Intermediate English Speaking/WritingEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.Certifications: One or both of the following:Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer AssociateExperience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related field.Technical Skills:Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, PLSQL or SQL.Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and processes (e.G., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).Knowledge of data integration techniques and best practices.Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.G., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.G., MongoDB, Cassandra).Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.G., Snowflake, Redshift, Google BigQuery).Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.G., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data-related offerings (e.G., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Dataflow).Experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.Optumus offers:Extensive Paid TrainingCompetitive SalaryCompany Paid HolidaysJob Type: Full-time, On-Site, Monday to Friday 7am to 4pmSalary: $35,000 - $45,000 per month before taxes, depending on experienceWork Zone: Colonia De Valle, Mexico City#J-18808-Ljbffr
