**Data Manager****Role Purpose. **The Data Manager will require partnership with regional Business, IT GB/GFs and Transformation teams to execute the Data management framework, control and policies. Data Governance manager will ensure its implementation in alignment with Group data policies.**Main activities**:- Capturing, analysing and documenting of business process (including IT processes).- Designing of solutions or change interventions.- Managing change activities which can include diverse tasks such as timeline planning to stakeholder engagement.- Devising change interventions such as training and communication.- Managing the tracking and documenting progress and managing status reporting.- Implementing solutions.- Creates analysis of customer journeys and product functionality.- Helps to define and track metrics and Performance Indicators for the product.- Understands risk exposure to the bank and help senior colleagues manage it.Requirements**Requirements**:- Banking experience.- Strong knowledge Trusted Source Framework.- Strong knowledge in Risk Taxonomy Control Library.- Strong knowledge in governance process.- Possesses very strong management and interpersonal skills.- Excellent organizational, planning and management skills.- Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users.- Be delivery focused with ability to pay attention to details and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the high required levels of quality.- Structured approach to ensure adherence to the data architecture and management framework defined by Data and Architecture Office (DAO).- Able to build and maintain global and local relationships.- Outstanding written / verbal communication and presentation skills.- Strong hands-on capability.- Advanced English.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and where their opinions count.
