Join our dynamic team and make your mark on the payments technology landscape of tomorrow.Responsibilities:Assist in designing and developing new database structures using SQL Server and CockroachDB.Write, test, implement, and performance tune effective SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data access and manipulation.Contribute to performance optimization efforts by assisting with identifying and resolving database bottlenecks.Participate in data migration projects, ensuring data integrity throughout the process.Implement data security best practices under guidance to safeguard sensitive information.Proactively monitor for and troubleshoot database issues to maintain system uptime.Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Write C# scripts within SSIS tasks to perform complex data manipulation logic.Document and present database designs, queries, and procedures.Collaborate with software developers to understand application data needs.Code reviews to ensure proper database usage and data management from all applications.Stay up-to-date on evolving database technologies.Provide technical support to users regarding database access and functionality.Participate in knowledge-sharing, training, and mentoring initiatives as needed.Global Payments Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
