We're on the lookout for a talented Design and Release Engineer to join our team.Job DescriptionAs a Design and Release Engineer in Body components (Exterior, Lighting, BiW, or Closures), your responsibilities will include interfacing with the advanced engineering group, vehicle development, and other functional engineering areas / Body teams along with the supplier. You will be responsible for packaging, designing, and developing these components to meet all functional objectives.The Engineer will provide feasibility input for the development of designs through the advanced engineering team and work closely with the other functional areas packaged in the adjacent area to design and package the parts to all clearance requirements, as well as working closely with the aerodynamic/thermal management team to ensure these critical part objectives are met. You will establish and manage the development timeline for the life of the project with production suppliers. The Engineer will develop functional objectives, build objectives, DVP&R / DFMEA, and manage the production supplier to meet all requirements. You will be responsible for the release of completed geometry using NX Teamcenter CAD tools.Engineers need to support meetings throughout NA work hours and work closely with local engineering teams, Architecture/Vehicle Concepts, program science teams to develop and launch these systems/components.QualificationsProficient in NX or CatiaExperience of one year in metal components and battery structuresFamiliarity with VisMockupExperience with TeamcenterAdvanced English and native SpanishDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related fieldLocated in Toluca, State of MexicoAdditional InformationHybrid work environment with the flexibility to work from home and attend on-site as required.Opportunity to work with a dynamic team on innovative automotive projects.Note: Only candidates legally authorized to work in Mexico will be considered.Join us and power the future of automotive technology!#J-18808-Ljbffr
