Danfoss is looking for a Design Engineer in Apodaca for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC) Engineering department.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Research, design, evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.Prepare designs, specifications, analysis, and recommendations for development of new product variants.Collaborate with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.Conduct research that tests or analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems.Maintain records pertinent to each project in the form of time, sketches, drawings, material specifications.Keep well informed on new developments in the research and design engineering.Work with colleagues and cooperation partners across functions and locations (globally) to achieve success in the job.Be self-motivated, proactive, creative, highly organized with strong attention to detail and a good team player who can interact with others across borders and cultures.Work with 12 local colleagues and report directly to the Engineering manager.Minimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate possesses these skills:
Passion for technical problem solving.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or advanced course work in areas relevant to product development is required.3+ years of experience working with product design and development and/or engineering research.Proficiency in Inventor or another 3D-CAD system.Knowledge in fluid dynamics is desired.Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline committed environment.Global mindset and outstanding communication skills.Good time management and project management skills to organize and plan effectively in developing systems and processes.Fluent in written and spoken English.Strong grasp and understanding of a team environment.Employee BenefitsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:
