**Title**: Design Engineer
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey
**Function**: Engineering (CA)
**Major Purpose**:
As a Hydraulics Design Engineer, you will be working at the Enterprise Technology Engineering Center and will be responsible for designing and modeling hydraulic/hydrostatic/pneumatic systems, components and routings while considering given design constraints, quality initiatives, cost targets and specification requirements for different product lines.
You will be responsible for project tracking, part ordering, issues resolution, support experimental prototype builds and.
In addition, you will:
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Creo Modeling work and routing analysis for hoses and routing retentions.
- Full responsibility of routing systems, tracking, part ordering, Non-Conformance Corrective Actions resolution and build support.
- Work closely with suppliers, manufacturing and cross functional teams to integrate new/existing components into new product programs.
- Contribute to a design from early concept, through a successful product production launch.
- Create specifications for hydraulic and pneumatic components (valves, motors, pumps, cylinders, etc.).
- Develop and promote part geometry and drawings.
- Collaborate with the test group to develop and execute a test plan for related systems and components.
- Support experimental builds and production ramp up activities.

- Strong English skills (speaking and writing).
- Hydraulic systems & fluid power knowledge.
- Experience working with external suppliers to procure new technologies that meet product specifications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to excel on a cross-functional team.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high pace environment.
- Experience trouble shooting and solving issues with technical problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
- Knowledge of DFMA, FMEA, DPAR, FGR & MaSA processes.
**What Makes You Stand Out**:
- Experience creating Hydraulic Schematics or Electrical Schematics.
- Experience on control valves design.
- Knowledge of DFMA, FMEA, DPAR, FGR & MaSA processes.
- Knowledge of fluid power calculations.
- Familiar with Automation Studio software or similar.
- Familiar with iDesign software or similar.
- Experience with Creo (Pro-E), PDM Link and SAP.
- Familiar with Creo Piping & Cabling.
- Experience in sheet metal design.
- GD&T knowledge.
**Education (or equivalent experience)**:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automotive Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
