Inside a global development team, you are responsible for defining and supporting technical rules and solutions. You will oversee not only the technical content but also business objectives such as budget, quality, performance, and schedule requirements. You ensure that we define and implement the most uniform and standardized components, providing new balanced engineering solutions in a timely manner while keeping costs to a minimum. Additionally, you will be involved in various R&D projects within the PRM organization and support power transformer factories worldwide.How You Will Make an ImpactLead subprojects in the development environment.Support the standardization and modularization program.Support non-standard functional requirements from end-customers.Subproject controlling including planning and reporting.Analyze, rate, and estimate user requirements and design solutions in collaboration with partners and the project team.Collaborate with teams from different departments and sites in an international environment.Coordinate external partners and suppliers.Help improve development methods and processes in a highly skilled development team.Drive key innovation projects and explore new fields.Support topics related to technology and innovation.Manage technical claims.What You BringEducation (HTL/FH/TU) in mechanical engineering or a comparable area.Mid- or long-term experience (3-5 years) in designing mechanical components within a CAD environment.Deep knowledge in mechanical construction.Expertise in material properties and mechanical stiffness.Ability to form sophisticated rules.Profound knowledge in CREO 3D, PDMLink (Windchill), and CADIM (Agile).Knowledge of transformer portfolio, mechanical design processes, and related manufacturing technologies.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members and various internal and external stakeholders.Experience working within international project teams.Willingness to travel.Who is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
