.**Responsibilities**:- Automating Software Build, Deployment and Release Process.- Responsible for Cloud (AWS) infrastructure build Automation and maintenance.- Configure Monitoring (Data Dog) for infrastructure and Applications.- Provide sample code to developers to help speed up the instrumentation.- Learn the tools that are utilized for metrics collection and measurement.Implement various metrics to assess the health of the system including Database, Network, and Storage.- Utilize the metrics collected for providing feedback to development and operations team to improve the system and performance.- Identify threshold for various metrics and implement alerts to notify the operation team if a problem is detected.**Qualifications**- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area, a minimum of 3 years of software engineering or related experience required.Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service- Experience with Agile Development methodologies- Experience in working with teams who are geographically located at different places.- Solid architecture experience- Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment- A self-starter who can collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team- Automate and optimize our software build and deployment solutions, to minimize the time from commit to customer- SRE Team would be using variety of software's/tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, PowerShell, Angular Js, Dot Net, IIS, Tomcat, Java, Data Dog etc along with AWS/cloud/virtualization technologies.- At Thomson Reuters, we believe what we do matters.
