We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in CI/CD environments on AWS and/or Azure.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cloud security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques, proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Terraform, CloudFormation), and excellent problem-solving skills.
This role is in collaboration with one of our leading clients.
It is a hybrid role, based in Guadalajara, Mexico.
English speaking is required.
Key Responsibilities: Integrate and improve security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and optimize security configurations for applications and systems.
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in collaboration with development and operations teams.
Design automation solutions for security and compliance processes.
Conduct threat modelling and provide mitigation recommendations.
Contribute to incident response activities.
Promote a culture of security best practices.
Stay updated with the latest security trends and testing methodologies.
Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in secure software delivery principles, microservices architectures, and CI/CD tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
Experience with WAF, network firewalls, NIDS/HIDS, and cloud service providers.
Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Understanding of threat modelling frameworks (STRIDE, PASTA) and security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP).
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
