.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical EngineerFluent EnglishAbility to manage International technical projects transversally in Sofi and Global Operations10 years experience in a similar position (predictive maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment), with proven on-the-job experience in a production environment.Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment to component level; capable of reading and interpreting schematic diagrams.Minimum of 10 years experience in supervising maintenance operations with strong planning and organizing skills.Demonstrated competence in supervisory skills, including motivating employees to meet performance goals, strong communication skills, and comfort with coaching and training individuals and teams; willing to cover and support a 24-hour operation if necessary.Working knowledge of personal computers, including AutoCAD and spreadsheet applications.Extensive knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical, Control, Industrial Refrigeration, PLC's, CNC machines, and robots/cobots.Experience in planning and maintenance of resources (budget).Knowledge of construction and facilities.Experience in the implementation of the TPM program.Dynamic, proactive, and comprehensive sense of responsibility.Personnel Management and excellent leadership (coaching and motivational skills).Effectiveness in written and verbal communication.Ability to lead group expertise to maintain the highest level and act as the reference.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee a maintenance department consisting of technicians supporting production for a 24-hour operation.Responsible for the daily maintenance and support of all processes.Manage improvement projects for equipment, utilities, and maintenance function organizations.Responsible for energy savings programs.Schedule all required preventive maintenance associated with operations.Troubleshoot and identify needed repairs on all equipment.Collaborate with all shift supervisors to address quality, maintenance, and preventative maintenance issues.Responsible for inventory control of all spare parts.Participate in the hiring, orientation, and training of new maintenance personnel.Evaluate and discipline employees according to company policy as needed; train maintenance employees on new processes or to improve skills.Maintain performance records on employees, routinely communicate performance to employees, and coach employees on methods and techniques for improvement.Maintain a continual follow-up program to ensure compliance with maintenance processes and procedures.Assist in analyzing and recommending the purchase of new equipment as needed.Analyze problems that arise and determine actions to minimize issues, decrease costs, and improve yields; recommend changes to the Production Manager and implement those changes upon approval
