This Director-level role will be part of Global Technology.Following a Chapter model of software engineering, your responsibilities will encompass the recruiting, selecting, upskilling, and managing a team of Software Engineers. Leading one of our chapter organizations, you will oversee 3-5 Senior Engineering Managers, each managing 15-20 Software Engineers. In total, you will be at the helm of a team comprising 50-100+ software engineering professionals.Accountabilities & Responsibilities:Be an inspirational leader who guides other leaders in the identification, recruiting, hiring and fostering of growth of a high-caliber team of Software Development Engineers (SDEs).Provide a roadmap for the team to implement software engineering practices that enhance code quality.Guide your team in advancing their software development skills and preparing them for bigger challenges.Drive professional development by focusing on technology, skill sets, and tools to nurture the growth of software development engineers, resulting in increased productivity and high-quality outcomes.Proactively identify opportunities in emerging AI technologies to enhance Developer Experience (DevEx)
