Uride is growing and we'd love for you to come along for the ride! We are currently looking for a Driver Onboarding Specialist to join the team and support our Mexico operations.
This is a full-time position with a salary between 15,000 - 20,000 MXN pesos per month base salary + incentives.
This role requires travel 90% of the time, with the ability to work remotely from wherever you are.
**Overview**
Working closely with our Mexico General Manager, this position is responsible for recruiting new drivers and supporting the launch of new cities. You will work closely with the operations and driver recruitment teams to ensure we have a strong and dedicated driver network in every new location, recruiting and onboarding drivers for Uride to ensure we have enough coverage in each city that we operate in.
You'll also play a key role in planning and executing new city launches, making sure operations start smoothly from day one.This role requires travel 90% of the time, so if you are someone who loves to travel, someone who loves to spearhead projects and build out new initiatives, then we'd love to hear from you!
**What you'll be doing**
Driver Recruitment
- Lead in recruiting new drivers for our platform, focusing on strategic growth areas.
- Develop and execute recruitment campaigns using digital platforms, offline strategies community outreach, and partnerships.
- Screen and interview potential drivers, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop localized recruitment strategies for different cities.
- Manage the drivers who rent a car from us in terms of operational processes.
City Launch Support
- Assist in the logístical and operational planning of launching new cities in Mexico.
- Support city-specific activities, such as gathering local insights, mapping launch logistics, and setting up local driver support offices.
- Coordinate on-the-ground operations during the initial phase of the city launch.
Onboarding & Training
- Facilitate driver onboarding, including conducting training sessions on using the app, safety protocols, and service standards.
- Provide ongoing support to new drivers as they integrate into the platform.
Market Research
- Conduct local market research to understand city-specific transportation challenges and identify key growth opportunities.
- Provide feedback on recruitment trends and recommend improvements.
**What we are looking for**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Operations, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, operations, or a similar role, ideally within a tech or mobility company.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel across Mexico frequently.
- Familiarity with ride-sharing platforms or similar industries is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Kindness, a high EQ, and adeptness at listening, communicating with, and collaborating with other team members.
