ECAD Electronic Engineer is a member of the project team (electronics, optical, mechanical construction, quality, etc.).He cooperates with other members of the electronics development team - PDTL, HW, SW MCAD engineer, component engineer, and Quality assurance.As a team member, he/she is responsible for the design and validation of the developed product - PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) electronics of lamps.Responsible for helping the project team to reach project goals - supply customers with a robust, validated, and reliable product in the requested time, quality, and price.Designs Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) according to customer and internal requirements, participates in technical design reviews, and communicates with engineers from other departments.Searches for cost-saving solutions.Makes designs robust to fulfill EMC requirements and includes design guidelines and results from EMC reviews into design (schematics, layout, 3D model, CAE thermal analysis).Lays out PCB based on inputs from HW and MCAD engineers (e.G., current/track and routing, ESD and EMC requirements, test points, location of components, mechanical stress).Supports customer reviews and meetings, sample preparation, product launch, and warranty analysis (analysis, reports).Supports reviews and meetings with suppliers, solves engineering queries, and proposes solutions to PCB design regarding feasibility, tolerances, and cost impact.He is a domain expert in the PCB design area.Executes reviews of the most complex PCB designs (following design rules from the viewpoint of feasibility, EMC/EMI, DGL/LL, and company standards, proposals for cost saving). Participates in PCB design technical reviews with experts from other teams from an EMC/EMI requirements perspective.In the case of test failures (EMC/EMI, thermal, environmental, etc.) or other design issues, he investigates the root cause and proposes solutions for PCB design optimization and issue fixation.Cooperates and shares information with the international team. Cooperates and solves issues.Works according to the VEDS process, creates specifications and drawings.
