Essential Duties and Responsibilities_
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of SEL's environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs that encourage a safe and healthy work environment and comply with federal, state, and local regulations; research regulations as needed.
- Own programs that ensure safety and environmental compliance; maintain programs to fulfill on-going customer requirements or needs.
- Counsel all levels of management and employee owners on safety management programs and practices and balance the needs of various stakeholders to understand problems and needs; participate in cross functional teams to create solutions within areas of expertise.
- Respond to job related customer inquiries, questionnaires, surveys, requirements, issues, and any environmental incidents.
- Participate in internal audits and compliance inspections and identifies actions necessary to meet regulatory and ISO 14001 and 45001 standard requirements.
- Perform EH&S review/approval as part of the Management of Change (MOC) process.
- Participate in equipment safety design by working closely with more senior EH&S personnel and other engineering groups within the company.
- Partner with site safety committee on active hazard control and accident prevention programs; facilitate incident investigation process, assist or lead in root cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions.

- Required Qualifications_
- Bachelor's Degree in a EH&S related field or Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of EH&S related experience
- Professional certification, such as Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), etc.
- Experience with multiple EH&S programs
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team environment
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Negative drug test result(s)
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
- Preferred Qualifications_
- EH&S experience in electronics manufacturing environment
- ISO 45001 and/or 14001 internal auditor experience

- Able to walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs unassisted and lift and carry up to 20 lbs
