**Job Description Summary**: We are looking for an Engineering Student who would like to be part of a team in charge of a critical process for the aviation business. The ownership of the CF34 Fleet Model belongs to GEIQ, and as part of this team you'll be working in the development of tools and models for data extraction, cleansing, interpretation, along with statistics to support models used to forecast shop visit stream and cost for a diverse set of CSAs (Customized Services Agreements). You will be responsible for deliverables that will be shared with Senior Leadership (up to VP levels).
**_ ESSENTIAL RESPONSABILITIES_**
- Development & maintenance of tools for Data Extraction, Preparation, Deployment & Interpretation
- Work with automation programs to handle multiple data types & outlier identification
- Engine field events investigation/classification
- Statistical Analyses (Descriptive Statistics and Hypothesis Testing)
- Weibull analysis for SV stream forecast modeling
- Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to collect information, validate and share outputs
**_ REQUIREMENTS_**
- Currently enrolled in Physics / Engineering / Applied Mathematics / Data Science & Analytics (or related fields)
- Disciplined, self-driven & self-learning, can work independently without supervision. Shows initiative and is proactive.
- Skilled in the use of Python for data management (extraction, storage, cleansing, processing, and plotting)
- Understanding of basic statistic concepts and tools
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- Presentation Skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership

- Project Management skills
- Skilled in SAS JMP and/or Minitab
- Intermediate Statistics tech domain
