Overview:Create and maintain a positive and supportive work environment by developing strong relationships between employees and the Company, promoting a culture of trust and mutual respect, and providing support and guidance so that employees understand their rights and responsibilities under Mexican law. Responsibilities- Liaise with Labour Relations Management on cases requiring consultation, notification and guidance on personnel matters. - Advise managers and staff on strategic operational proposals.- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. - Conduct effective, objective investigations.- Manage labour disputes in line with federal and collective agreements, assisting the Labour Relations Manager.- Assist the Labor Relations Manager in mitigating legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance, consulting with external legal counsel as necessary. - Advise operations management and employees on interpersonal relations, productivity and retention. - Assist the Labour Relations Manager in providing guidance on human resources policies.- Train team leaders and supervisors on labour relations policies.- Train team leaders and supervisors in labour relations.- Report to Labor Relations Management the KPIs of the area, such as citations, labour claims and cost savings.- Review and send labour claims to Labour Relations Management, as well as prepare the legal documentation.- Prepare for meetings with the Minister of Labour and the various procedures for dealing with employee dismissals.- Assist the Labour Relations Manager in ensuring compliance with current labour regulations.- Propose sanctions when requested by supervisors and Human Resources managers.- Carry out site visits to review workers' labour files and conduct random interviews with workers. QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Law, Labor Relations, Human Resources, or related career.Knowledge:LFT and labour relations legislation.Sanctions and dismissals.Policies, procedures and organisational rules.Subpoenas, requirements and procedures before labour boards and conciliation panels.MS Office tools.HR policies and procedures.Experience:2-3 years' experience in manufacturing and local labour laws.Attend hearings and settlements at local and federal labour arbitration centres. Apply disciplinary actions and present them to the labour authority.Apply internal labour regulations and organisational policies.Attend inspections by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.Attend labour summons and analyse demands from the authorities.Application of federal labour and health and safety regulations, including gender violence and conflict resolution.Language required: advanced EnglishAvailability to travel: Yes, 50% ( national travel).#J-18808-Ljbffr
