**Job Summary**: The **HR Generalist** is responsible for supporting a wide variety of HR activities for the **Mexico entity**, including **recruitment**, **onboarding**, **payroll**, **benefits administration**, and ensuring **compliance with federal and local labor laws**. This role contributes to fostering a **positive and productive work environment** and advises managers and supervisors on all **Mexico HR practices**.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- ** Develop, implement, and communicate** HR **policies and procedures**:
- ** Collaborate** with U.S.based **People Operations** counterparts to share best practices and maintain **consistency**:
- ** Advise** and **assist** management and employees on **labor-related issues**, such as **employment contracts**, **termination**, **compensation**, and **benefits**:
- Maintain **accurate employee records**, including **personnel files**, **training records**, and **documentation**:
- Handle **sensitive employee information** with confidentiality and follow **data protection regulations**:
- ** Manage full recruitment lifecycle**, including **job posting**, **sourcing**, **interviewing**, and **onboarding**:
- ** Oversee employee benefits administration**:
- Assist employees with **Employee Self Service** access, including **password resets** or **information updates**:
- Ensure accurate and timely **payroll processing**, including **wages**, **deductions**, and **benefits**:
- Draft, renew, and maintain **employment contracts**, ensuring compliance
- Provide support on **payroll inquiries** and issues
- ** Enforce compliance** with **Mexican labor laws** and company policies
- Regularly **review and update processes** to align with **legal requirements** and **best practices**:
- Other duties as needed to **meet business needs**
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
- ** Bilingual** in **English and Spanish** with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Proven ability to succeed in a **fast-paced team environment**:
- Ability to effectively **interact with and influence** all **organizational levels**:
- Able to work **independently** while **prioritizing and multi-tasking** to meet deadlines
- Experience **developing and managing** company-wide programs
- Knowledge of **Mexico labor laws** and regulations
- Experience processing payroll
- Proficiency with **HRIS** and **talent management systems**:
- Skilled in **electronic communications** and **Microsoft Office Suite**
**Required Education and Experience**:
- ** Bachelors degree** in **HR**, **Business**, or a related field, or **equivalent experience**:
- ** Minimum of 3 years experience** in human resources, preferably as a **generalist**:
- Strong **integrity**, **professionalism**, and **confidentiality**:
- ** Customer service** focused, able to work both independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Education and Experience**:
- Previous experience with **human resources information systems (HRIS)**:
- ** Human Resources Certification**, e.g., **PHR**, **SPHR**, **SHRM**
