Main Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesImplementation of esave Best PracticesProject management and execution of SBT/Energy Saving investment projectsDeveloping and deploying resource efficiency culture within the site/regionEnsure solid onboarding and training routines in respect of energy savingsPerform regular energy awareness sessions and ensure site/region level understands energy costs and lossesManage energy related certification work for site/region (e.G. ISO)Scout and apply for local and regional subsidies for relevant projectsAct as a counterpart to the global Sustainability / esave networksKeeping updated knowledge of local/region energy related legislationMethodic and strategic energy reduction planning. Ownership of execution and resultsEnsure that Essity corporate standards are considered and executed in alignment with Central functionsLead local/regional energy related networksProper stakeholder management required – ensure that relevant information will be shared within site/region3. Experience and Qualification RequirementsUniversity Degree or equivalent within relevant practiceExperience in manufacturing operationsCultural savvy and proven practice of leadershipAbility to turn theory into practiceAbility to act as a team player and lead cross-functional initiativesAbility to lead teams4. Technical/Specialized KnowledgeFunctional knowledge: In depth knowledge of technical and business disciplines required, specifically in saving energy, in De-inking, Papermaking and Converting; renewable energy, steamand electrical systems, thermodynamicsBusiness expertise: In depth knowledge of industry; understanding of total value chain; profound practical experience in applying continuous improvement processes and corresponding metrics to organizationsLeadership: Ability to influence and motivate staff, managers and employees framed by SCA´s leadership capabilitiesProblem solving: Drives world class continuous improvement principles in developing peopleCommunication skills: Skilled communicator with excellent influencing skills; External or internal relations with Site management teams and global functions5.
