The role is about supporting the sourcing team on the innovation agenda. It will be responsible for ensuring the right connection between Marketing, Sourcing, Agencies, Operations, and Suppliers.- The objective of the role is to get the packaging development related to innovation and sustainability process under control, on time, and within the framework of the five principles.- In partnership with the stakeholders, the role is also instrumental in assessing the business risk and/or opportunities in each market. In addition, the role will have to participate in all the innovation forums and have to guarantee the right connection between stakeholders and the Commercial Packaging Team.- The role will need to build a robust network across the region and its understanding of the S&OP and End to End innovation process. Finding ways to standardize and to find efficiencies are part of the activities expected for the position.- The role will be responsible to do activities up to the graphic chain, where operations come in to play their role.- In the current business context, where innovation plays a relevant role for the entire organization, Commercial Packaging needs to be the link that can support the pipeline implementation, bring ideas, and all in the most efficient way possible.**Main responsibilities**:- Official Packaging Sourcing Spoke (Flexible, Paper & Retort) for innovation projects, and Regional and lo meetings.- Communicate lead times and requirements of suppliers depending on the project need.- Connect needs with different Sourcing responsible when quotations are needed.- Development of specifications and coordinating follow up meetings with suppliers and R&D.- Sample request process and follow up to ensure delivery date based on need.- Volume definition with supply team and costing process for existing specs.- Share P&L impact for S&F and align assumptions.- Ensure spec alignment and sign off.- Hand in of projects to operations team for graphic chain.- Process standardization through the region: Graphic chain and supplier controls and processes to enable efficiency in S&OP process.**Requirements**:**Education & Professional Qualifications**Degree in Business administration, Bachelor of Foreign Trade or Engineering.**Knowledge / Experience**Operational Procurement experience.Understanding of packaging materials.Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environmentLanguages: English & Spanish.**Competencies**:- Approachability.- Peer Relationships.- Conflict management.- Organizational agility.- Drive for results.
