The mission will be overseen by the ICC Secretary General's Office. The **External Engagement Advisor** should be **based in Mexico City**.**Mission**- Work closely with the ICC Chair and, when required, the First Vice Chair.- Assess, triage and manage incoming requests to the ICC Chair - including event invitations - coordinating with colleagues in the Office of the Secretary General.- Develop talking points, speeches and briefing notes to support the Chair's participation in external events and meetings, working with colleagues across the organisation to ensure alignment of messaging.- Provide logístical support for the planning of overseas trips - booking bilateral meetings, arranging travel/accommodation and coordinating schedules.- Identify opportunities to position the Chair in external fora and processes.- Drive effective internal communications on the Chair's activities with the ICC headquarters team.- Manage incoming correspondence from the ICC network and external stakeholders, coordinating with the Office of the Secretary General and other HQ departments as appropriate.**Requirements**:- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience, ideally in a public-policy related role - together with a degree in a related field.- A sound understanding of trade, sustainability, and digital policy issues.- A proven ability to build strong stakeholder networks.- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for institutional engagement and visibility.- A strong commitment to ICC's values and our mission to enable trade as a driver of peace, prosperity and opportunity for all.- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-standards of integrity, transparency and discretion.- Proven logístical and organisational skills.- Fluent English and Spanish essential; additional languages a plus
