.Job DescriptionThe field engineer will be responsible for:Post-sales position in which predominant job responsibilities and requirements occur after receiving project awardProvide pre & post-sales technical expertise during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products and solutionsEnsure that client's needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specificationPrepare as-built documentation and performance reports of the systems deployedMain Responsibilities:Pre-Sales stage:Team with pre-sales team to clarify the design and requirements of the solutionsConduct frequency planning, link budget analysis and traffic analysis for systemsBring technical expertise to the team to develop project budget and schedulePost Sales stage:Support project managers to lead all technical aspects of the projectsPerform site surveys and help in preparation of installation proposalsLead project implementation working with internal and third party contributorsConduct acceptance tests protocols to ensure that the solution meets project specificationsPrepare performance reportsPrepare project technical documentationPerform preventive and corrective maintenance of company products and solutionsTroubleshoot problems during implementation and support stagesThis is a hybrid role, working 3 days from our office (Bosques de Alisos 125, Cuajimalpa de Morelos)Basic Requirements:Bachelor of engineering (Telecomm, Computer Systems or related field)3-5 years of experience in a similar technical environmentWindows & Linux knowledgeServer virtualization knowledgeNetworking knowledgeTroubleshooting and problem resolution skillsAvailability to travel 50%English Level B1-B2 or equivalentIn addition to the above, the following technical experience and documents are desirable:Experience Land Mobile radio communication systemsFixed and mobile video solutionsCyber-Security knowledgeProject Management knowledgeR56 installation guide knowledgeU.S. B1 / B2 valid VisaValid passportDriving licenseTravel Requirements: 50-75%Relocation Provided: NonePosition Type: ExperiencedEEO Statement:Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
