.Danfoss Mexico is looking for a Financial Analyst in our Reynosa Plant. As Financial Analyst you will provide direct support to the plant controller. This requires accomplishing a variety of accounting and project management tasks, including but not limited to processing and managing journal entries, review, and analysis of actual financial information as it relates to monthly financial reviews and forecasts, fixed asset accounting, balance sheet account management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and the development of processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and value of the accounting department.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Support manufacturing operations by reviewing many aspects of plant operations, including manpower analysis, trend analysis, etc.Analysis of capital projects and maintenance of Oracle fixed asset system.Ensuring compliance with all SOX and corporate audit requirements.Complete monthly and quarterly account reconciliations according to Danfoss financial policy.Assist with the annual physical inventory and reconciliation.Ensure on-time completion of monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting requirements.Participate in month-end closing and forecast processes.Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures.Assist with annual profit planning process.Support and/or participate in continuous improvement activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas programs, Cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve our business goals and objectives.Minimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate possesses these skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.Minimum 1 year of experience in a factory, in a similar position.Strong communication skills (English conversational and written skills required).Familiarity with finance information systems (Oracle, SAP, DFT, MFGPro).Strong ethics and professional presence required.Negotiation skills and experience with suppliers.Sense of urgency.Proactive and organized.Team player.Employee BenefitsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:Bonus systemPaid vacationOpportunity to join Employee Resource GroupThis list does not promise or guarantee any particular benefit or specific action.
