Teleset, a Sony Pictures Television Production Latin America & U.S. Hispanic company, develops, adapts, produces and coproduces scripted and non-scripted, Spanish language programming for cable and broadcast clients in the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets.
With three offices serving the region, SPT offers a variety of flexible content and business models to its clients.
From the Miami office, Sony Pictures Television Production develops, adapts, produces and coproduces scripted Spanish language programming for free TV networks and for pan-regional cable channels.
**SUMMARY**:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely completion of day-to-day AP and cashflow activities which includes processing both cash receipt and payments in Mexico, reconciling bank accounts and ensuring activities are following corporate policies and procedures.
The analyst plays an active role in the Finance team.

Working under the direction of the Head of Finance, the analyst prepares the entity's cash flow, schedules for payment of production crew and vendors, oversees corporate bank account balance and prepaid cards debit cards.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Prepares and monitors entity's and production cash flow and forecasts
- Scheduling and coordinating with the CAPGEMINI Shared Service Center, weekly and urgent payments for the productions
- Payments for PSE payments in their respective portals, e.g., utilities, locations, social security, taxes and others
- Verifies payments are cleared in SAP
- Verifies payments are processed by the bank
- Updates vendors database as needed
- Review and provides input on bank reconciliations
- Support ad-hoc projects
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
- Strong analytical skills: ability to perform GL account and bank transaction analysis and reconciliation
- Strong organizational skills: ability to complete a large volume of work timely
- Use of good business judgment: ability to work with and maintain confidential documents and information
- Effective time manager: ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines
- Displays the ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of accuracy required
- Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced changing environment with minimum supervision
- Must be hands-on, participative and focused on problem solving
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bilingual: English/Spanish, both oral and written preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in role preferred
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Two years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience with SAP ERP System preferred
- Advanced user in Excel, Power Point and Word
