**Who we need**:
Reporting to the General Manager, Manufacturing, we are looking to hire a Fixtures Manager.
You will be responsible for production planning and execution, budgets, project staffing and scheduling and the successful execution of customer orders.
You will manage the development of new furniture manufacturing projects and take charge of the material and human resources strategy.

As a Fixtures Manager, you will play a key role in delivering value and driving success for the company, its employees and our end customer.
**You will**:

- **_ Manage the development of new manufacturing projects._** You will execute a feasibility analysis of a new project, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
You will control the use of raw materials, track daily waste, monitor the impact of preventative machine maintenance.
You will elaborate on the drawings and leverage the samples to assess the cost of materials and the time required for each project.
- **_ Execute the material strategy._**_ _You will implement processes to optimize production times and the quality of the process and products.
You will review production order details including the materials, the production schedule, and the quantity of finished pieces required by the shipping date; you will leverage this information to plan department operations.
- **_ Execute the human resources strategy._** **You will schedule shifts, direct and coordinate the team, and oversee the production lines.
You will guide the team to follow the procedures determined by the quality department.
- **_ Oversee the production areas._**_ _You will ensure the organization, order, cleanliness, motivation, performance, and compliance with standards, policies, procedures and goals set by the General Management.
- **_ Project planning._**_ _You will manage the design of tooling and equipment.
You will deliver and review the production process with engineering.
You will set the KPIs and establish actions to achieve them.
You will improve processes in search of being more productive or profitable.
- **_ Work team management._** **You will lead product design and functionality, supervising the execution of the different stages of the design engineering process.
You will review and interpret the technical specifications provided by the customer and transform them into design calculations, manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, manuals and area-specific documents for production.
You will provide technical support in the manufacturing stages of the design and development of new products and follow up on the manufacturing and testing stages of the product.
- **_ Prioritize quality._**_ _You will implement, document, maintain and improve the quality system procedures and instructions for design and detailed engineering development.
You will document, review, verify and share the information generated by the engineering department with the areas that request it to manufacture, install and construct the product.
**You have**:

- **_ The experience._** You have a background in mechanical, industrial or related engineering and extensive experience in the wood furniture manufacturing industry overseeing production teams at medium or large companies.
You have conducted and applied plant capacity analysis and purchasing cost calculations.
